Kira discovered her love for yoga over 25 years ago in her first group asana class.
In 2022, she made the decision to deepen her practice and share her passion by becoming a certified yoga instructor. She completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and 85-hour Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training through Mind the Mat including an Instructor Apprenticeship Program under the mentorship of Caroline Deitch. Additionally, Kira holds a 95-hour Children's Yoga Teacher certification from ChildLight Education with specialized training in Trauma-Informed Yoga and Mindfulness. To further expand her knowledge, Kira completed the 300-hour Svastha Yoga Therapy Foundations Program with renowned teachers Dr. Ganesh Mohan, A.G. Mohan, and Indra Mohan, integrating a therapeutic approach to yoga rooted in both modern science and traditional wisdom.Kira finds deep joy in practicing with her community and is passionate about spreading kindness while sharing the transformative power of yoga with her students. Outside the studio, she is an avid runner, rock climber, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner, and volunteer farmer.
