Kirby Culbertson

Her yoga practice and will always have foundation in the importance of valuing and giving back to the environment and supporting communities, but she is called to work directly with individuals on self-care and stress management. Kirby is passionate about working in a one-on-one setting, so that the practice of yoga can be tailored to an individual’s needs. One of Yoga’s greatest teachers famously said, “If anyone can breathe, they can do yoga.” Kirby firmly stands in this perspective and enjoys shedding light on yoga to any curious person, regardless of what physical, mental or spiritual ailments they may be working with. Her trainings at the Kripalu School of Yoga in Massachusetts and the Surya Chandra Yoga School in Orange, VA on the tools and philosophy of yoga allow her to offer practices that are relevant to an individual’s current state of being. She is grateful to be a student of yoga for life and has a great passion for helping people move towards improved health and increased well-being.
