Hello! My name is Krista and I am a certified yoga teacher breathwork facilitator and intentional living coach I was first introduced to meditation and yoga through the Center of Spirituality and Healing at the University of Minnesota while pursuing my psychology degree I was struggling with mental health issues and felt very lost Learning these mindfulness practices was invaluable in my journey to well-being I became more centered compassionate inquisitive and felt more connected to everything around me I was also better able to manage difficult emotions and experiences As someone who has experienced a great sense of healing and self-exploration from yoga it is important to me to share this practice with others I received my hour teaching certification from Yoga Sanctuary in Minneapolis and my hr/Level yoga therapy in Somatic Yoga from Yoga North I weave breathing techniques meditation and movement into my classes finding a balance between exertion and rest I enjoy teaching gentle hatha hatha flow and restorative classes and have a Yoga Nidra certification I welcome everyBODY to my classes and make modifications for injuries I discovered that my passion is to help others along on their path to physical mental and spiritual wellness and become certified as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition to do just that I offer intentional living coaching breathwork and individual yoga sessions through my business Sacred Ground Wellness I have always been a curious person with a deep hunger for learning and personal growth In my free time I love to admire the beauty of nature hammock in the trees stand-up paddle board dance my heart out take my tortoise and cat out for a stroll and make people laugh I believe that the body and mind have innate wisdom to heal and become well I take a holistic approach to support all parts of you on your journey towards purposeful living I look forward to meeting you! I am currently teaching weekly Restorative Yoga on Thursdays from :-:pm Candlelight Yoga and Meditation on Thursdays from -pm and Sundays from -:pm at Yoga Sanctuary All of these classes can be accessed on Zoom You can also find me leading workshops periodically at Yoga Sanctuary.
