Kristen Duffy Young MFA CMA RYT It has been a joy and privilege to work as a movement educator for the last years In I founded a dance program at the Colleges of the Fenway a consortium of five small colleges and universities in Boston I also taught dance courses at Emmanuel College Salem State University and the Longy School of Music My interest in teaching through the lens of mind-body practices led me to become a Certified Movement Analyst through the Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies as well as a Pilates Instructor through the Kane School of Core Integration now Kinected Through private instruction and personal practice I have also studied Alexander Technique and Feldenkrais I bring each of these experiences to my yoga practice and yoga teaching where my purpose is to uncover a more embodied way of living and to help others along their own personal quest for embodiment and connection.
