About
I am an integrative recovery coach, Registered Somatic Movement Therapist, and yoga teacher with a PhD in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Exercise Science.
I teach gentle, somatic, and creative yoga with an emphasis on body awareness, nervous system regulation, and intuitive movement, helping people reconnect with themselves and develop greater self-awareness. My work supports students in gently stretching—both physically and mentally—while learning how to pause and interrupt old patterns with compassion and clarity, with a specialization in recovery from eating disorders and addictive patterns. I hold additional certifications such as Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention, Mindful Self-Compassion, and Befriending Your Body, and I draw from these evidence-based and embodied frameworks to support resilience and self-trust. I currently teach one-on-one sessions via Zoom in a personalized, private, and supportive space, with in-person sessions occasionally available when I am in town by inquiry. Outside of teaching, I love world travel and giving my mini Goldendoodle exotic haircuts.
