Laura has always found tranquility and peace of mind through the practice of yoga and meditation.
She focuses on alignment conscious breathing and emotions. She started on the path of Hatha Yoga 21 years ago, and has been acquiring and diversifying her knowledge by learning from different yoga schools. Her first training was in Hatha Yoga with Restorative Alignment by Brigitte Longueville. Then, she completed a Vinyasa Yoga and Adaptive Yoga training with Michelle Young followed by an Ashtanga Yoga training with Olivia Martínez. When she moved to Canada, she completed a Kids Yoga Training with Rainbow Yoga Kids and a Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga training with Clare Newman and Lori Lucas followed by a Vinyasa Yoga training with Clara Roberts Oss and a Kundalini Yoga workshop with Gurmukh. She also became a certified as a Mudras Therapist with Sabrina Mesko, and she took numerous Sivananda Yoga intensives with Sabu Chaitanya while living in the Yukon. She has taught yoga in physical rehabilitation clinics, yoga schools, holistic centers, sports schools, dance schools, elementary schools and preschools in Mexico, Spain, Canada, Curacao, Dominican Republic and online. She currently resides in Vancouver Canada where she studies a 200hrs yoga training with YogaFit Canada. She is also internationally certified as a Fitness Instructor Specialist with Canfitpro, teaches group, semi-private and private online and in-person classes at community centers in Vancouver and schools. Her background is in Psychology, Counselling, Dance-Therapy and Early Childhood Education with an emphasis in Montessori pedagogy. In her free time she loves playing with her two kids, going for nature walks with her family, dancing salsa and relaxing with a nice cup of herbal tea.
