After a busy day 10 years ago Laura placed her yoga mat on the floor searching for some quiet time in her daily schedule.
What she discovered in the union of breath and movement made her feel transformed at the end of each yoga class. While battling an auto-immune disorder in 2008, yoga became more than just time for herself. It became a daily practice for total mind-body health. Yoga provided balance, strength, and taught her to always live life to the fullest potential. Laura’s classes are for all levels of students and are balanced with challenge and fun. Laura’s philosophy is yoga from the heart – the feeling within. She emphasizes being accepting of ourselves, on the inside and out. Laura became an E-RYT200 under the guidance of Cybele Steen and Tami Roberts at Lifted Heart Yoga in Atlanta, GA. She brings calmness and positive energy to her classes. Always helping her students strive to achieve their greatest potential. Her wish is for her students to attain a sense of balance through their yoga practice, both on and off the mat. Reminding her students to always ‘just be’ exactly where they are today.
