About

Laura has been practicing yoga for over two decades.

Fueled by a passion for yoga and a genuine desire to share it with others, she completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training in Boston in 2009 and 500-hour teacher training in Virginia in 2012. Laura has taught thousands of hours of yoga classes in her community at Humble Haven Yoga, Om On Yoga, The Country Club of Virginia, The Richmond Ballet, St. Catherine's School, Anna Julia Cooper Episcopal School and private yoga and private group classes in her Virginia home studios in Richmond and Lake Anna. Laura has a deep connection to the Vinyasa practice and the way it dynamically flows from one pose to the next in perfect unison with the breath. She believes that unlike many physical pursuits, yoga is a life long, sustainable practice. Laura also believes that yoga is for everyone - whether you are seven or seventy and her only regret is that she didn't start practicing yoga sooner.
