Laura Ollendick is a  hour Registered Yoga Teacher focusing primarily on Hatha and Prana Vinyasa yoga She is also certified in Meditation and Pranayama/Breathwork and her strongest passion is encouraging beginners and all bodies to find the benefit of a yoga and meditation practice She has taught in a variety of locations for the better part of a decade including Zoom rooms; however as owner and founder of The Healing Shack she finds that Shack yoga has its own special essence In the continuous honing of skills Laura is often taking as many classes/courses as she is teaching She both leads and hosts workshops and community circles Laura has had the honor of practicing with her teachers; Adi Shakti and Yogrishi Vishvketu in Rishikesh India The texture of Lauras life expands beyond teaching and practicing in her love of family trees hiking gardening herbal medicine reading and having tea with friends she is continuously creating community I teach at various studios and events across NE Iowa and SE Minnesota I love teaching any class but it is always special to me to teach beginners as they launch their yoga practice and to watch people become empowered.
