Laura Spaulding is president of Yoga East, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit yoga school (founded in 1974) in Louisville, Kentucky.
Laura has been practicing yoga for over 50 years and teaching yoga since 1994. She began studying with K Pattabhi Jois in 1999 and was authorized by him in 2004. She received Authorization level 2 from Sharath Jois in 2009. Laura has traveled to India to study yoga thirteen times since 1986. Laura focuses her teaching and practice in Mysore-Style Ashtanga yoga, yoga philosophy, chanting and traditional texts. She enjoys teaching all levels of students and teaches beginners as well as intermediate students.
