Lauren Peterson is a Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School (RYS).
Lauren has continuing education in reflexology, stand up paddle yoga, and advanced thai yoga massage. Lauren has her associates degree in dance technology, bachelors in dance, and masters in physical education. Lauren is founder of Namaste SUP a free global community that brings stand up paddle yoga enthusiasts together. She has developed a land based sup yoga curriculum for grades 2-12 for Physical Education programs. She has presented her curriculum at both the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance (AAHPERD) State of Hawaii Conference, and State of Arizona Conference. In 2017 she had the opportunity to teach stand up paddle yoga at Wanderlust Squaw Valley. Currently an associate faculty member at MiraCosta College teaching beginning, intermediate and advance yoga classes. She also offers a PE/Yoga classes at San Clemente High School.
