Lauren is a 200-Hr Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance through Inner Jasmine Yoga, a Registered Yoga School.
Lauren has been a dancer and an athlete all of her life. Ten years ago, while attending the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana for a degree in Kinesiology, Lauren sought a way to relieve stress and find a mind, body, spirit connection. Lauren fell in love with the fluidity, the shapes of yoga and the physical benefits of the practice. She loves the beauty in each pose and the calm and focus it brings to her mind. Lauren brings an outgoing, warm, loving and friendly nature into her classes. She enjoys adding sound meditation and refining yoga poses to help students find their best alignment. Lauren also loves teaching yoga to children of all ages. When she is not practicing yoga you can find her teaching chemistry, horticulture and dance to high school students, dancing, traveling, gardening, cooking and living an Ayurvedic lifestyle. Lauren is a life-long learner that strives to teach her students kindness, how to live with an open heart and that each day is a chance to renew your mind, body, and spirit.
