Laurie started practicing yoga as cross training and injury prevention for running.
She quickly saw the benefits of having a steady yoga practice and her body began come back into balance after all of the years of endurance training. Now Laurie cannot imagine her life without yoga and is thrilled to be able to share this practice with others. Laurie received her training in Ashtanga Vinyasa from Infinite Yoga in San Diego. She emphasizes alignment and breath in her classes and hopes to help others develop a lifelong practice. Laurie is an assistant cross country coach and also teaches German at Bellarmine University and the University of Louisville.
