Lelia is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYSA).
Lelia is registered through YA with 200 Hours of Teacher Training (Yogafit), 140 Hour Trauma Sensitive (Warriors/Yogafit) and 45 Hour yoga for cancer Teacher Training through Yoga4Cancer. In 2025 I completed the 300 HR YTT through Elemental Yoga and Wellness. My first yoga practice was through a VHS tape created by Rodney Yee in 1999! thank you Rodney.... I was working in a very stressful environment and my husband purchased this tape for me to help with my stress and anxiety. I realized very quickly yoga was the right exercise practice, not only could I manage my stress and anxiety, I was losing weight and the flexibility was helping when working around my house. I was hooked! This started me down the yoga teacher training path...the rest is history. My teaching passion is Restorative, Easy Flow , YIN and Yoga for Cancer. Creating a calm and compassionate yoga practice in a safe environment is always my goal for my students. "when you speak kind words you offer others fruit from the tree of life.."
