As a Certified Yoga Therapist and Certified Scoliosis Specialist with over years of teaching experience utilizing therapeutic movements and techniques thru ScolioYoga ScolioPilates and ScolioReformer to get you SCOLIOSIS STRONG! I am of less than a dozen in the US as a Certified Yoga for Back Care & Scoliosis Trainer coupled with a Pilates Certification supporting spinal health This offering I term as "Therapeutic movements & techniques utilizing the ;modalities of Yoga and Pilates for Scoliosis" Both virtually and out of my home studio in Gurnee IL I teach : customized back care spinal pathologies and scoliosis sessions I have studied mentored and assisted with renowned master teachers Gabriel Halpern formerly of Yoga Circle/Chicago Nancy Fox formerly DL Heraty Iyengar/C-IATY Elise Browning Miller/Iyengar - Nancy and Elise are both authors of the book “Yoga for Scoliosis” Additionally I have studied under Dr Loren Fishman Alison West Deborah Wolk Maria Mendola and Karena Thek author of the book "Scolio-Pilates" Brent Anderson PT PhD OCS NCPT Shelly Power BS NCPT and Christy Idavoy Annually over the years I enjoy a five day intensive workshop under Doug Keller I am currently on staff with Inner Peace Yoga School as an Instructor teaching the teachers Therapeutic Yoga for Scoliosis healings Certifications C-IAYT Yoga for Back Care & Scoliosis Trainer Certified E-RYT Certified thru Yoga Alliance YACEP Polestar Pilates Certified Advanced Practitioner of ScolioPilates Advanced coursework in Prenatal Yoga American Heart Association Adult CPR Certified wwwscolioyogacom linda@scolioyogacom.
