Linda is an experienced Certified Yoga Instructor, registered with Yoga Alliance.
After practicing yoga for over 25 years, and as a fully commissioned Stephen Minister, Linda pursued her certification to teach yoga in 2007 in Phoenix, AZ, through the school of Holy Yoga: Christ Centered Yoga. In 2011 she obtained an additional certification as an E-RYT500 (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher), which is the highest teaching level recognized by Yoga Alliance. Linda is also recognized as a YACEP, (Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider), and has met the criteria to offer classes, workshops, and programs that provide CEU's to interested professionals. Linda is a gifted instructor with the ultimate goal of sharing the astounding benefits of yoga and meditation with people of all ages and abilities; from those who are challenged with physical or developmental disabilities, to those who are typically healthy, strong and physically fit. Linda also supports her community by offering practical workshops that provide interesting and experiential continuing education. During a typical workshop or class, you will find that Linda has the ability to articulate sensation while leading her students through various yoga poses and evidence-based modalities that prepare both body and mind for deep soul soothing rest and relaxation. Students will have the opportunity to naturally increase their own breathing capacity, and to strengthen, stretch, reset, and renew both body and mind. It is Linda's goal is to empower her students with an experience that will leave them grounded, refreshed and encouraged to celebrate the gift of one's own individuality and simple presence. Linda teaches multiple modalities, such as Office Yoga, Chair Yoga, Qi Breathing, The Great Yoga Wall™, and is a Certified iRest® Teacher. She is also trained and Certified by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society to teach Yoga for MS, and is a Certified Y12SR (Yoga 12 Step Recovery) Leader.
