Linda loves bringing her knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology to the mat.
She is a retired Physical Therapist with expertise in the evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries. She has been practicing yoga for over 15 years and is a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher. During the past five years, Linda has studied extensively with Prajna Yoga’s founder, Tias Little, and senior teacher, Djuna Devereaux. She is certified to teach SATYA, a somatic movement practice developed by Tias Little. Linda is the founder of Yoga for Climate Action. Linda has a committed meditation practice and has been sharing the dharma and guiding meditation classes for well over a decade. She has attended in-person trainings with His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Thich Nhat Hanh, Pema Chodron, and Jack Kornfield. She is currently enrolled in a 2 year Dharmapala Training Program with Kittisaro and Thanissara in the Mahayana and Thai Forest Traditions. Linda has taken her formal Bodhisattva Vows and completed Ngondro in the Karma Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism and is committed to helping others awaken to the present moment. In her classes, she is devoted to creating a sacred space in which to cultivate harmony of mind, body and spirit.
