Linda is a BCRPA and Yoga Alliance certified Yoga Instructor, with Hatha, Yin, Restorative, Chair Yoga, Yoga for Older Adults, Somatic and Yoga Nidra certifications.
She leads yoga classes at Panorama Recreation Centre in North Saanich, and at the First Unitarian Church of Victoria. Her Hatha classes provide a well-balanced combination of alignment-based poses meant to invigorate, strengthen and renew, and include balance, strength, ROM and flexibility training. Her Yin classes offer postures designed to build muscle length, stimulate the circulatory and energy systems of the body, and strengthen the joints and supporting connective tissues. Her Restorative classes provide a relaxing environment where full body restoration takes place bringing the body back to a state of wellness. Her Somatic classes help to release hidden tensions locked within muscle groups in the body. Her Yoga Nidra classes nurture deep relaxation enabling regeneration for the nervous system. She also teaches Tensegrity and is a student in the movement of Biotensegrity.
