I began yoga with YouTube and WiiFit.
When I finally took a studio class for the first time, I fell in love. I began teacher training as a way to earn extra income, then fell in love with teaching. I completed my 200hr and 300 hr YTTs at Yoga Power School in Charleston. Currently, I am a Studio Manager, a Retreat Coordinator, and an Event Coordinator for Yoga Power LLC. I am a Lead Trainer for the 200 and 300 Hour YTT's at the Yoga Power School. I am also an Independent Educational Consultant at Jamie Dickenson LLC, a local tutoring, college planning, and educational consulting business. Previously I was a public school teacher at my local elementary school, so I am also certified in KAY (Kidding Around Yoga - yoga for kids). I hold additional certificates in TRX, Acro Yoga, and I am a Level 2 Lagree Instructor. I have taken my love for education and movement and combined them into the best jobs ever. I love to show up to work every day and make a positive impact in the lives of those around me.
