Lindsay began teaching kids yoga in and has been working with youth for over years She is both a -hour registered yoga teacher and a registered childrens yoga teacher that embraces kindness and compassion Lindsay also spent a year as an educator at Fusion Academy teaching middle and high school students with learning differences in a one-on-one setting Her children and teen yoga classes help young people understand the importance of being kind in their thoughts words and actions to both themselves and others Lindsay helps kids recognize their inner strength to practice being calm and still to connect more confidently to the world around them After taking advantage of an opportunity to spend time volunteering at a wellness retreat center on the Big Island of Hawaii Lindsay fell back in the love with the practice of yoga and was reminded of the importance of community the benefits of yoga along the importance of sharing kindness and love with each other Upon returning to the DC area Lindsay paired her passion and past experience working with youth with her interest in sharing the benefits of yoga with kids by volunteering with YoKidStretch Your Limits While at YoKid she valued making yoga accessible to all kids especially those in low-income communities Her teaching experience led her to receive a -hour kids/teen yoga training through YoKid Eager to grow in her personal yoga practice and to learn more to share with her students she completed her -hour yoga training with Radiance Yoga and hour childrens yoga training with Radiant Child Yoga Lindsay values creating a loving caring and kind environment for children and youth to explore the practice and benefits that yoga has to offer.
