Lindsey Koeneman

My yoga journey started in college as an elective course. Many years on-and-off the mat would follow, even through two pregnancies, but it wasnt until after a car wreck, I would begin to take my personal healing journey more seriously. After months of physical therapy, I decided to lean into my yoga practice more, and as the practice started to shift in me, the idea of teacher training arose. The forces of nature that comes with trauma can also shed light on the beauty of living in the present moment.The audience I serve is diverse. Each class from gentle to vinyasa is an opportunity to bring a student closer to understanding the power of peace within their practice. In class I offer hands on assists and guidance to students while threading in dharma talk with touches of my personality. By returning to the 8 Limbs, I offer pranayama techniques, asana, meditation, mudras, and mantras, to bring balance in their practice and life. Off the mat you can find me… cheering for my kiddos at ball-fields or the theater stage, on my boat out by Cayo Costa, volunteering at Valerie’s House, or running, and spending as much time in nature as I can. I strongly believe it is my dharma to serve the community around me by offering yoga, Ayurveda, meditation, and sound therapy, and I feel incredibly blessed to do so.
