Linsey has always had a passion for fitness and physical activity whether it be through running spinning cross training weight training or boxing After having her third child in she explored yoga mainly as a new physical activity What she found was life changing Although the physical benefits of yoga were amazing and complimentary to her other fitness activities the mental and emotional rewards of yoga enhanced so many other areas of her life as a mother wife and friend and helped her achieve her fitness goals Linsey graduated from the University of Illinois in and went on to become a practicing school psychologist In she decided to pursue yoga instruction combining her background in psychology and education her desire to help people and her years of experience practicing yoga She completed her hour power yoga training with Core Power and plans to continue training and pursuing certification in other forms of practice as well She hopes her students find her classes to be mindful physically challenging and emotionally elevating Her goal is for all students to leave the yoga studio with strong bodies calm minds and full hearts.
