About
Yoga has been a constant thread woven through every stage of my life.
From a young age, I was instinctively drawn to the fluidity and grounding nature of yoga. Whether it was joining a class or practicing alongside experienced yogis, I found myself returning to the mat again and again. My official yoga journey began in 1990 during my first year of college. In need of a physical education credit, I chose yoga—thinking I already had a strong foundation from years of personal practice. What I discovered was far more transformative than I anticipated. That class marked the beginning of a lifelong commitment to the practice, not just as physical movement, but as a holistic path of wellness, self-awareness, and growth. Today, I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, having completed my certification through Yoga Farm, a Registered Yoga School (RYS). My teaching is also deeply informed by my academic and professional background—I hold a Bachelor's degree in Art, a Master’s in Elementary Education, and I am a New York State certified teacher for birth through 6th grade. I bring over three decades of personal practice, a rich background in education, and a deep passion for nurturing mind-body connection to every class I lead. Whether you’re just starting your yoga journey or looking to deepen your practice, I’m here to guide you with intention, compassion, and creativity.
