Lisa Griffiths has been teaching yoga for 23 years.
Her teaching style is joyful and inclusive, blending flow concepts with alignment sensibility. Her classes vary in type from Vinyasa to Gentle and Restorative yoga. A strong believer in mindfulness meditation, she always weaves these elements into her classes. Lisa leads Livestrong at the YMCA, a fitness and wellness program for cancer survivors that includes yoga and mindfulness meditation. Lisa is a Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 200, YACEP) with Yoga Alliance and is a Yoga Medicine Therapeutic Specialist (500 hr). She completed her teacher training with Yoga Works in 2006 and continues to develop her knowledge each year with continuing education. Additionally, she has studied with Richard Miller to learn his iRest Yoga Nidra program.
