Lisa Rose-Michalski is a Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500) with Yoga Alliance. She holds a M.S.
in Exercise Physiology from the University of North Texas and certifications in ACSM, AFAA, and Senior Fitness. Lisa has worked in the health/wellness field since 1989. She has developed programs with special populations including HIV/AIDS, Diabetes, active older adult, cancer survivors, and childhood obesity. Lisa began her yoga journey in 1993 when members requested yoga on the class schedule. Since that time, she became a passionate student and studied yoga intently while living on St. John, USVI. She began teaching yoga in 1998. Lisa credits her knowledge and teaching methods to many influential yoga teachers along her journey. Through their influence, Lisa has developed a style her students describe as a “powerful and graceful flow”. She urges her students to connect with their nurturing breath to discover inner strength, truth, and peace.
