Lisa Westerfield is a Registered Yoga Teacher RYT with Yoga Alliance a Certified MELT Instructor Hand & Foot & Foam Roller an ACE Group Fitness Instructor and a Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner She has completed over hours of yoga training including: hours with LYT Yoga led by Lara Heimann hours with YogaFit hours with Saraswati River Yoga in Lahaska PA hours with YogaStream in Princeton NJ Some of Lisas greatest joys as a lifelong student have come from immersing herself in the LYT Method created by Lara Heimann—an incredibly gifted and fun teacher and the owner of YogaStream She has also been deeply influenced by Lee Alberts application of Positional Therapy techniques to yoga and by the powerful teachings of Anand Mehrotra in Rishikesh India where she studied yogic philosophy and advanced spiritual practice Her classes reflect a commitment to functional movement breath-based flow and a joyful exploratory spirit that invites students to move with strength and awareness.
