Lori Dixon (Sunny)

I was enamoured of her purple leotard and the physical movements she gave me to freely explore as a child. My child like fascination of Yoga has come and gone over the past 45 years, but I always remember where it began. I have practiced consistently for the last 30 years and have taught Yoga in some capacity for the past 5 years - whether it was at a gym, a studio, a body of water, or classroom. I teach Yoga as both a student and a teacher. The ability to impart knowledge is one piece, but the other piece is giving my students the ability to freely explore their practice with child-like openess and exploration while showing love, compassion, and understanding for themselves on their mat. I believe we carry our practices out into the world. I am thankful for what I learn from my students in my teaching. I am mindful that there is no end to Yoga, only action and presence.
