Lou Christian is a Registered Yoga Teacher RYT with Yoga Alliance which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School RYS Lou has been a student of yoga since and completed her teacher training certification in June of at YogaLife in Norman Oklahoma Lou and her husband Gene now reside in Panama City Beach Florida She completed the Yoga for Healthy Aging YFHA Certification under Baxter Bell and Melina Meza in July in Berkley CA She has a Masters Degree in Education from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelors in Business Administration from Cameron University In January & February Lou attended and completed the Heartwood Yoga Institutes hour immersion training program certifying in Yin Yoga Restorative Yoga Yoga for Seniors Chair Yoga and Reiki Master She also trained in Yoga Philosophy Advanced Anatomy Trauma-Informed Yoga Cancer Recovery Yoga Ayurveda Advanced Teaching Skills Advanced Pranayama Advanced Meditation plus retreat and workshop planning along with an introduction to Kundalini Yoga Sound Baths and so much more She is now a RYT Teaching beginners and gentle yoga are her favorite classes focusing where breath and movement are linked to revitalizing the body and mind and improving health She loves hatha yoga balancing mind body and breathe She enjoys being in the great outdoors traveling reading and spending time with her family and four grandchildren Lou also has a masters degree in education from The University of Oklahoma and a bachelors degree in business administration from Cameron University Lou provides group beach yoga lessons private lessons and group lessons for vacationing or special event gatherings She also substitutes in studios as needed.
