Lucy Valente is an experienced Registered Yoga Teacher, E-RYT 200, YACEP with the Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of yoga teacher training with Registered Yoga School (RYS).
She completed her 200 hour Yoga teacher training at the Yoga Institute in Wayne , PA. in 2010 studying classical yoga philosophy and practice. She also holds certification in Chair Yoga and Gentle Yoga. Lucy has been practicing yoga since 1999 and started teaching yoga in 2010. All of her classes are technical and alignment oriented. She is committed to ongoing yoga education by attending intensives, workshops and seminars of yoga study. She has expanded her practice knowledge to include Iyengar, Baptiste Power, Anusara, Yin, Chair, Gentle and Vinyasa flow styles of yoga. She has attended Kirpalu Center for Yoga and Health in Lenox, Mass. as often as possible to expand her experience and knowledge of yoga philosophy and the anatomy of the body as well as taking many online courses on a regular basis. She is committed to helping others deepen and enrich their practice. Her singular goal is to create an atmosphere that permits her students to experience Yoga at its most holistic and personally transforming level.
