About

Lynette Vann is a resident of the mountains of Colorado (Red Feather Lakes) and the boreal forest of Alaska (Fairbanks).

She started practicing yoga in the late 90s as a way to incorporate movement and stress-relief into her life while working as an engineer and attending law school at night. She continued and deepened her yoga practice after moving abroad with her family as a way of connecting to community. She has practiced with communities in Malaysia, Vietnam, Bali, Kazakhstan, Far East Russia, as well as her home country, the United States. She taught community classes as well as classes to school children during her time overseas. Lynette has recently completed her 200-hour teacher training with Jason Crandell under the Jason Crandell Yoga Method and is certified as a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS). Lynette’s goal is to bring all that she’s learned from her decades of practice to her community with a focus on longevity and sustainability. She welcomes adult beginners of all ages as well as experienced adult practitioners who are looking to revisit simple things done well in their practice.
