Mads is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, having completed her foundational 200-hour training at Salt Lake Community College.
She holds additional certifications in Children’s Yoga (30-hour) and Prenatal Yoga (30-hour), along with various CE hours, and is currently midway through a 300-hour advanced YTT, deepening her studies in mindfulness, meditation, sound healing, philosophy, trauma-informed practices, and other holistic healing modalities. Her teaching specializes in restorative postures, Yin Yoga, Pranayama, mindfulness, lymphatic and somatic movement, sound healing, aromatherapy, and a body-inclusive, accessible approach. A dedicated practitioner since 2016, Mads offers a variety of classes including restorative, yin, vinyasa, and hatha yoga. Mads recently graduated from Salt Lake Community College with a degree in Outdoor Adventure Parks & Recreation, focusing on recreational therapy and inclusive programming. She is now continuing her education at the University of Utah. Blending her love for yoga, outdoor education, and community care, Mads is passionate about curating retreats and recreation programs for low-income families and individuals of all abilities. Her work centers on connection, nature, and holistic well-being.
