Mallory Holson is a Registered Yoga Teacher RYT with Yoga Alliance which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School RYS Mallory first approached yoga as solely a physical practice seeking to prevent injury and maintain flexible muscles as a high school and college athlete Upon discovering it she fell in love with not only the physical asana but also the spiritual philosophical historical and mental practices that yoga provides Her curiosity led her to complete the -hour Yoga Teacher Training at Studio Sabija in West Chester Pennsylvania Here she was taught the importance of leading with thorough verbal cueing to achieve optimal alignment learning to preserve ancient and authentic yogic ideas and so much more In her teachings she strives to break the misconception that yoga only offers physical movement and educate the ways that yoga is connected to the breath mind and spiritual realm as well She enjoys learning and teaching with Sanskrit terminology and implementing Pranayama into her practice Mallory has recognized the change that mindfulness and gratitude have made in her life and hopes to provide space for this change in others as well She can promise that students will be met with encouragement compassion and kindness in her classes She approaches practice with the idea that yoga looks different for everyone but can be achieved by anyone.
