I‘m currently an Alliance certified yoga teacher with a 500 hour professional-level credential after concluding an Ashtanga-based yoga program for teachers under the direct guidance of Jonny Kest (LifePower / Center for Yoga).
In addition I engage in a 6 day a week Mysore practice in Connecticut under the guidance of a Level 2 certified teacher (via the Ashtanga Institute in Mysore India). Yoga has been a part of my life for over 5 years, and has helped me work through trauma stored in my body through movement and breath work. It has given me discipline and ease of mind in my daily life. In classes, I love to take part in motivational and uplifting sequences that push the body to grow in ways beyond the physical. To enter a trance state of breath and movement that allows one to have moments of respite from the endless distractions we face collectively. Finding one’s edge and pushing beyond our expectations to achieve a sense of accomplishment and pride is one of my highest aims to share with our community at large.
