Margaret Durbas completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training in 2004 at Yoga Center Amherst with Patty Townsend.
She then completed her 500 hour yoga teacher training in 2011 in the lineage of Rod Stryker's Parayoga at Your Community Yoga Center in Hamden, CT. Maggie has taught thousands of students in the Farmington Valley and Hartford area and she had a "virtual studio" for many years... teaching at yoga studios, gyms and homes of clients. She currently owns a studio in Simsbury, CT called Journey of Yoga, and additionally, she has the pleasure of offering regular Yoga Teacher Training courses. She is certified as an Ayurveda Health Counselor, after receiving her training through the Himalayan Institute in Honesdale, PA.
