Growing up in the Santa Cruz Mountains, Margery Tonna always felt connections to both the mountains and Silicon Valley. After working 20+ years in high tech, she made a career shift to teaching yoga and meditation, with the intent to help people manage stress. Many of her teachings incorporate the elements of nature to help students foster connectedness and grounding. While her true passion is Restorative Yoga, she also loves to teach gentle, chair and kids yoga.Margery’s studied under Jennifer Prugh, Noell Clark, Joanne Varni, Bridget Puchalsky, Christina Roberts Enneking, Judith Hanson Lasater, Richard Rosen, Leslie Howard, Jack Kornfield, Tara Brach and Lakshmi Voelker.Additionally, Margery has a masters degree in Integrative Health and Wellness from Creighton University and is a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) and the founder of Wellness Camp, LLC, providing health and wellness coaching for high-tech workers seeking to manage stress.
