Maria LaRue

She accomplished this goal by graduating in March 2014 from the Yoga On Chocolate 200-hour Teacher Training Program (Registered Yoga School, YOCTT) located in Hershey, Pennsylvania, which training was focused on the Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga style.   In December 2016, Maria completed a 300-hour advanced yoga training at Om My Yoga Academy located in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.    Maria began practicing yoga in April 2012 and joined Yoga On Chocolate in March 2013.  She became curious as to why teachers would cue certain things and started to enhance her practice with yoga workshops which led her to the Yoga On Chocolate Teacher Training Program.   Her journey continues by sharing with others the benefits of yoga both on and off the mat.  She continues to participate in workshops and in October 2015 completed a yin yoga teacher training program at Just Plain Yoga in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania with Corina Lynn Benner of Wake Up Yoga In Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.   In May 2016, Maria completed a restorative yoga teacher training at Freedom Yoga /Barefoot Yoga & Wellness Studio in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania with Rachel Welch May from Bucks County, Pennsylvania and is excited to offer the benefits of restorative yoga to her students.   Through her practice Maria has become more present and is excited to give back to the yoga community.  Although her day job is a paralegal for an exciting law firm, her passions including spending time with her husband, traveling, reading, meditating and yoga, which has given her a sense of balance.
