Mara Porkka

Her yoga journey began at age 16 when she took her first hot yoga class and almost threw up afterwards. Mara is passionate about blending the serenity of nature with the practice of yoga; she finds inspiration climbing mountains, creating art, and savoring the experience of life. When she’s not teaching, she enjoys cooking plant-based meals and cherishing special moments with her daughter and husband. Her classes are designed to be fun, supportive, and loving environments where students can connect with themselves and each other. She believes that yoga is a journey of growth and self-discovery, and looks forward to guiding you on that path with kindness, joy, and a love for life’s natural beauty.
