Drawing from her experience undergoing five spinal surgeries (among other things), she understands the importance of adapting her instructional methods to meet the needs of individuals at all stages and abilities. For several years, Dr. Riggio has specialized in working with older adults, addressing their unique requirements and needs. Her classes encompass both traditional and non-traditional multi-disciplinary yoga, and she incorporates effective guided and visual meditation techniques in Śavasana. Dr. Riggio offers a distinctive, unique approach to her teaching (....it comes with humor). This encourages clients of all backgrounds, experience levels, or interests to broaden their understanding of yoga, encouraging continued engagement with the practice.Dr. Riggio loves her husband, her dogs, being a philanthropist, riding her motorcycle, and being active in the great outdoors (and yoga happens here, too!). She enjoys hiking, trail running, swimming, and [once-upon-a-time] was a mountain biker, a snowboarder, a single-engine plane pilot, and a recreational skydiver. Her favorite place is Santa Fe, NM and she and her husband (and a few of the dogs) visit there as much as they can.
