Mariah Varner

She soon fell in the love with the practice and consequently completed her 200 hour training at Ember Yoga in May 2019. Currently, Mariah teaches vinyasa, aerial, yin, sculpt, & kid's yoga classes all over the Atlanta area. She also leads gentle outdoor yoga retreats at Sugar Valley Alpacas. Mariah’s love of creative movement stems from her background in the fine arts. She has studied classical ballet and singing for over 15 years, and she has performed internationally at several venues, including: the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, the 2012 US Presidential Inauguration, and for the Bahamian Prime Minister. Mariah loves to adapt dance elements into her classes by incorporating hip / heart-opening postures and creative sequences. Mariah specializes in adaptability, ensuring her classes are both accessible and motivating to all participants. Additionally, she emphasizes yoga’s unique ability to provide both a challenging physical workout and calming stress relief. In her spare time, Mariah enjoys performing aerial dance, cooking, and hiking / running with her two dogs.
