The minute I stepped foot on the mat for my first class, I knew my heart and spirit had found a home.
In classes I endeavor to create an atmosphere that is compassionate, non judgemental, and welcoming to everyone. My love for spirituality inspires me to bring yoga to all people. As an artist, my passion lies in developing specialized classes and workshops designed to tap into the creative energy that resides in everyone. I have taught yoga/art and meditation workshops at yoga retreats nationally and internationally. My conviction that yoga is a strong force for unity and of body, soul and spirit both personally and in community is evident in my teaching techniques. Currently co-owner of Black Bear Yoga Studio in Orange City, Florida offering all levels of yoga classes in ashtanga/hatha and meditation with the intent of offering the best in quality authentic yoga to the communities that surround us through classes, CEU level workshops, retreats and Totem Yoga 200YTT. I am a Kriyaban and design many of my classes which emphasizes the techniques and yoga of Kriya as taught by the yoga masters.
