About
Masha began her yoga journey in 2008 when studied Ashtanga with a renowned teacher Kathy McNames at Yoga Vermont.
She believes that this style is the purest form of yoga, as it encourages concentration through discipline and breathing. Masha completed her 200-hours training in 2012 and 500-hours training in 2020. She's currently living and teaching in Tampa, FL. As most retired athletes, she struggled with serious injuries and decided to focus on styles that encourage steady recovery. Along with Gentle Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Restorative Yoga, Masha is teaching a modified version of Bikram-inspired Hot 26 series. Masha is a Certified Health Coach, trained at Duke Integrative Medicine. She has a Master's degree in Nutrition and Food science from the University of Vermont. Her passion for wellness doesn’t end with teaching yoga; she loves cooking and baking, and promotes nutrition through Mindful Eating workshops, YMCA diabetes coaching program, and cooking classes for kids.
