I teach GENTLE YOGA FOR AGING.
I am 76 years old and realize i can offer opportunities for people to experience the benefits of yoga simply because I see that wherever the student is at the moment is the perfect place to start a practice. I focus on encouragement, acceptance and accommodation of the body with kindness as our guide. My focus is on balance, strength, flexibility and body awareness. My belief is that we can age with a greater awareness of our bodies so we can prevent falls and increase bone density while we add strength and flexibility. My intention is to motive all of us to create a daily practice so we can agie with continued mobility, good humor and balance in body and mind.
