Mary has been practicing yoga for years and recently decided to do an instructor training at the Kripalu Center for Yoga in western Massachusetts The message of this particular Hatha style is one of compassion which is what attracted her to this style In fact "Kripalu" is the Sanskrit word for compassion The origin of the practice stems from Swami Kripalus studies and the philosophy invites students to practice and come to the mat from where they are today now Its an accessible style that encourages students to adapt whats offered to fit their body shape and personal goals Every day is different so the practice can feel different from moment to moment Breathe! Mary currently lives in Telluride Colorado a mountain resort area in the southwest Natural beauty and an outdoor lifestyle make the area a special place to live She looks forward to offering classes to beginners to welcome all to enter her space with comfort and ease Mary hopes to share this beautiful practice while opening the hearts and minds of her students to the acceptance of where they are today letting that wisdom guide them to a place of ease or as the yogis say "Santosha" Jai Bhagwan! .
