About
Mary started teaching yoga in 2006 after completing her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with the Spiritual Life Society in Hudson, OH.
She went on to complete a 300-hour teacher training in 2014 with Andrei Ram (also in Hudson, OH). She has attended dozens of immersions and continuing education workshops since then, including a certification in Accessible Yoga in 2024. Now Mary is an accomplished practitioner and teacher who has studied several styles of yoga including the lineages of Swami Satchidananda, Dharma Mittra, B.K.S. Iyengar and others. Mary's classes include techniques for releasing muscular and mental tension, finding and moving the energy of the body, and being more in tune with nature. Classes are mindful of injuries, reduce muscle stiffness, and include breathing techniques that bring balance to the mind and body. These classes are accessible to all and do not shame or judge individuals.
