Human physiology has always interested Peggy.
An early beginning in gymnastics was the catalyst that influenced her love of movement and a career in physical therapy. Peggy has 20+ years experience providing physical therapy to clients with a wide variety of needs in all the body systems. She believes everyone can do yoga. Peggy received her 230 hour teacher training in 2012 at Yoganize and her 500-hour Advanced Yoga Certification at Asheville Yoga Center in the summer of 2014. Peggy is a member of the Yoga Alliance, IAYT, and American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) holding section memberships in Orthopedics, Neurology, Oncology, and Women's Health. She explains that while yoga is physical, it is not just a way of moving... it is a way of life. With breath leading the way, she strives to demonstrate safe alignment and provide gentle adjustments to protect both beginner and experienced yoga students in their journey. Peggy is a yoga teacher and physical therapist assistant teaching classes, private sessions, yoga series for wellness centers and hospitals, yoga for corporations, children's yoga at schools/home schooling and workshops or trainings for students, yoga teachers and physical therapists/assistants interested in the benefits of yoga for special populations.
