I am a newby, he is a seasoned practitioner. My husband's teacher is Andrew Eppler so I am heavily influenced by Andrew's approach to astanga which is flexible yet challenging, patient and spiritual. I recently completed 200 hour training in Vinyasa Yoga. I teach at the local yoga studio, both gentle yoga and astanga "flavored" flow. My husband and I teach beginner's yoga at a nearby residential treatment center for women, and I also teach chair yoga at a local monastery. I am learning a spectrum of yoga practices while my first love remains astanga.
