Judith graduated from Michigan State University Honors College with a degree in Humanities and a Dance Specialization She was a member of the international group Up with People as a core dancer performing in countries and states including the Olympic Welcoming Ceremonies She taught and studied dance in New York City for two years There she became a Certified Movement Analyst from the Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies and a Certified Pilates Instructor from the PhysicalMind Institute After moving back to her hometown she founded Bodywise in Bodywise has served the Elk Rapids community ever since with various services  In Judith became a Hour Registered Yoga Teacher RYT- in the style of Vinyasa Flow with internationally acclaimed yoga teacher Shiva Rea  Judiths yoga classes are an inspired mix of calming and challenging She brings creativity and fresh boldness with new sequences and asanas every day Heart pumping poses and combinations mixed with periods of rest and slow flow With an emphasis on good alignment and healthy lifestyle choices Judith strives to support her students to achieve optimal health Also in Judith studied Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga with Amelia Travis from Stoked Yogi and has offered classes of SUP yoga for four summers in the Elk Rapids area Judith has years of experience teaching movement to all ages and levels Specializing in back issues Judith strives to inspire a healthy body inside and out With over hours of teaching yoga her yoga designation is now E-RYT- / RYT- YACEP.
