Maya Breuer, E-RYT 500, YACEP Maya Breuer is an accomplished yogi, with more than 34 years of experience practicing and teaching yoga, and training and certifying yoga teachers.
As co-founder of the Black Yoga Teachers Alliance, Emeritus Trustee of the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health and creator of the Yoga Retreat for Women of Color®, she is an advocate for better health and well-being for all. Her contribution to the pedagogy of yoga include articles, interviews, and lectures, about the practice, philosophy, and healing benefits of yoga. Maya is committed to outreach to the BIPOC community and supporting their embrace the practice of yoga.
