About
Meg came to yoga through the advise of a very wise physician, who told her that she could mitigate the pain of an autoimmune disorder with the dedication to the practice.
Since then, she has found a deep well of creative joy. Her work as a teacher is to assist others in finding their own path to the liberation yoga brings to the physical, emotional and spiritual realms of this life. Meg's thesis for her 300 hour Yoga Alliance teaching certification, "Dissolving into Radiance: A Vanaprastha Practice for Experienced Older Adults," detailed the challenges aging places on a yoga practitioner and outlined a practice that embraces these realities while continuing to push the edges of physical, emotional and spiritual practice for growth. Meg is currently the lead teacher in the 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training program at Refresh Yoga Center in Alexandria. M You can read more about Meg's yoga journey here: www.lostandfoundyoga.com.
