Meghan Darcy is a Registered Yoga Teacher RYT with Yoga Alliance which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School RYS   Meghan first came to the yoga mat as so many do at the beginning of her personal healing journey and experienced full embodiment for what felt like the first time!  Over the last nine years Meghan has met herself on the mat thousands of times experiencing many little deaths and rebirths and sinking more deeply into the gap while observing the pain bodys ever-changing emotions without judgment  The practice has radically transformed her life moving her out of black-and-white thinking and out of a disordered identity allowing her to see her mental health in an entirely new way  In the last nine years of practicing yoga and meditation Meghan has also been certified as a Mental Health Peer Support specialist and studied with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition which offers a holistic approach to health coaching  Meghan is currently pursuing her Bachelors of Psychology through South University and has been recently accepted into Community Literature Initiatives publication program to work towards publication of poems and prose about the human condition she has been compiling over a lifetime  Meghan believes that we are a vessel for Source/God and that a continuous practice of deep listening to this vessel as well as what moves through it from the space Beyond is the formula for a beautiful existence in our brief time here on Earth  Her goal is to eventually integrate all of the perspectives/approaches to wellness that shes encountered to reimagine the healing/self-acceptance journey through the lens of creative expression and embodiment being the antidote for trauma and shame  She is especially interested in bringing these practices to the neuro-divergent community as well as communities impacted by lack of access to resources  She longs to walk alongside those gifted individuals that have experienced the gaslighting and ostracizing of a sick society and remind them of their innate value  She wants to allow them the space and the tools to grow in deeper self-acceptance in the context of a world in which they may experience constant deep pangs of rejection  She believes whole-heartedly in empowering these people that often feel overwhelmingly disempowered because of their differences as these are the people that Source/God has purposely positioned to disrupt norms and reimagine a more beautiful and authentic world  She cannot wait to meet you on the mat to gaze into you as her reflection and remind you of how much what you have to offer this world matters to allow you the space you need to process your experiences so that you can show up as your truest version and shake the world!  Meghan is grateful to the first studio she ever practiced in Twist Yoga Studio in Edmonds Washington  And she would not be a certified yoga teacher if not for Jackie DeConti with Madre & The Muse YTT out of Wilmington North Carolina Her willingness to work with Meghan through less-than-ideal financial circumstances to have access to certification made all the difference.
